STEP Camp Overview
July 10 & 11, 2018

The Skilled Training Educational Partnership Camp (STEP) is a 2 day summer program which offers students aged 10 to 14 with the opportunity to explore a variety of technical areas through an exciting series of “hands-on” workshops. Students will learn how to use a variety of tools and equipment and at the end of the day walk away with a project or product they have built or prepared themselves!

“The best part of the camp was the hands on work we got to do,” said Kraemer Pestell.

“Some of the things I got to experience were wood working, automotives, and working with different machines. It helped me make some course decisions for when I get (to) high school.” writes Ashley Meagner.

"I really liked this camp because they let you use the tools yourself instead of them doing it for you. I also liked the instructors. They really knew what they were doing,” wrote Kyle Waymouth.

“I think this week was one of the best weeks I had this summer, and I would like to come back again…” comments Jack Looby.
